With it being a 6 month program, it is very stressful. A lot of homework, not a lot of time. Doable.. but tough.
Were not allowed to have a job - - - Understandable, the internship is only 6 months long, the very shortest available, and between 9-10 hour days with observation and 3-5 hours of homework each night... there is no time for a job.
What was the workload like?

Describe your rotations and other professional experiences (field trips, seminars, workshops or professional conferences).
LOVED IT. I did my Clinical rotation at Heartland Health in St. Joseph, MO. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Also did this rotation at Heartland Hospital in St Joseph, MO. It went well.... just not my area that I love. Week of WIC, 2 Weeks at Missouri Extension (LOVED), and HyVee Dietitian at Maryville, MO Just did extra clinical work in hospital. Community with Missouri Extension.. got to do many different classes and lecture at a Women\'s Conference on Heart Health. Gave exercise classes to 50+ women.

What is your best application advice to applicants of this program?
It is A LOT of paper work to fill out.... I heard that if you don\'t have absolutely every paper filled out perfectly, they will throw you out of the running. Start application process 6 months in advance.
